"Singapore Justice Party", Set up by former UNF members, it absorbed the bulk of UNF shortly after. This renewed the infighting and the party remained weak. When erstwhile SDP MP Chiam See Tong joined SPP in 1997. In 2001, it became an inaugural component of SDA along with SPP and others. However, after SPP pulled out of SDA in 2011, Lim resigned from SPP and returned to SJP to stay within SDA.
